Archaeological Experience

1988 - 2009

21 years working full-time as a freelance archaeological consultant. In this capacity worked as a sole consultant archaeologist or in association with McDonald Hales & Associates, Quartermaine Consultants, Macintyre Dobson & Associates, Brad Goode & Associates Pty Ltd.


Over 350 reports have been produced detailing the results of Aboriginal heritage desktop studies, native title archival work, heritage surveys, industrial archaeology, mitigative salvage excavations, management planning and historical desktop studies and monitoring programmes. Heritage surveys have been undertaken in the Southwest, Northern and Eastern Goldfields, Pilbara, Nullabor, Great and Little Sandy Desert and Kimberley. Some regular clients have included Telstra, Optus, B.H.P.Billiton, Hammersley Iron, MRWA, Water Corporation and Western Power as well as environmental companies, architects, mining and residential housing development companies.
